Watching You Sleep

In our bed, I watch you sleep;
Our bodies share each other's warmth.
My finger softly brushes your cheek;
I smile and whisper my love to you.
Watching you sleep is one of my favorite things to do;
I imagine where you are in dreamland.
I wonder if I am there with you?
You snuggle closer to my warmth;
My heart swells with joy.
This must be heaven.
I close my eyes and drift to sleep, safe in your arms;
Nothing can beat this.
