Your voice was buzzing in my ears like static. But it wasnt so easy to turn it off. You seemed to be spinning the dial to make your voice louder, but I couldnt hear your words, just your volume. You looked angry but your eyes looked sad. I just stared into them as you tried to get your words across to me. But I was locked inside of you with muffled voices telling me to look away.
You always brought me back to reality though. Your touch was like a cold wind. The kind you feel right before winter.
It reminded me of the winter when we first met.
The snow floated down around us looking like it could never touch us. The wind made our cheeks bright red and it stung like a thousand bees.
But we didnt complain.
Our fingers were numb as the snow sunk into our thin, worthless gloves.
We still didnt move.
The seasons could of changed all around us and we would of never noticed.
But even then, the wind replaced your words
it wasnt the static
it was the whistiling
and you werent yelling
you were whispering.
