When the pain is bad enough, death is the only release.
Tortured ways and torment is the death of endless life,
Screaming out in rage as it increases the strife.
Drowning in a river, full of fallen tears,
This is where I am today and where I’ve been for years.

I’ll never know the sunshine, or the warmth upon my face.
The feeling of the peace that only comes with final grace.
The beauty of the flower is a mystery to me,
As it is just a beauty that I know I’ll never see.

Upon this sea of misery, onto this shore of pain,
I live a life confined to the death of endless rain.
And every now and then, as if by evil spite,
It stops the pouring rain, and gives me just a sight.

A look into a world that will never let me be,
A look into a life not so full of misery.
As hope begins to fill me, and tears begin to dry,
A lightning bolt goes through me; I let out a hardened cry.

Torture in the torment, life inside of death,
Feeling that the end is near with each and every breath.
Forcing me to continue as it tears apart my soul,
Ripping down into me leaving naught but a gaping hole.

One day I’ll be free, and finally have release,
And all this pain inside me will at once finally cease.
Torture in the torment, carry on with every breath,
And will just keep going on that way, until the joy of death.
