Isapera, Christmas Goddess

Isapera is the Christmas Goddess who lives in Norway. She lives in a gray elegant castle in the woods where there is snow ten months of the year. She is 200 years old and her mortal sister Princess Sue lives with her. Isapera and Sue have the same father but Sue is half mortal. Isapera is a Goddess and her parents weren't mortal. Isapera's parents have been gone for years and Sue leaves the snow covered forest to visit her mother during the two months of summer. Isapera has fairies that live in the woods and they fly over all of Scandinavia keeping an eye on the children who have been good and bad all year. Isapera brings toys and chocolates to the good children and the bad children get coals under their Christmas trees. Over the years, there have been more good children then bad ones.

Isapera rides a gold chariot pulled by pure white reindeer to deliver her Christmas goodies and lumps of coal. Isapera was in love with Frey, a son of a Norse God but he married the Ice Princess. Romanoff, Frey's brother has been in love with Isapera for years. She has long blonde hair that she braids all the time. Isapera looks forward to Romanoff's visits and is slowly falling in love with him. She and Santa stay in touch. Santa has so much to do delievering gifts all over the world but he doesn't have to worry about Scandinavia. Our Goddess has it covered.

Isapera has made friends out of the white rabbits, foxes, squirrels and birds that live in her woods. All the animals who live here are white. There is plenty of food for the animals. Isapera and Sue get lonely sometimes but they are glad to be siblings. Isapera loves the two months of summer here. She doesn't wear white dresses at this time. She wears blue and other colors of dresses at this time. She and Romanoff have picnics in the woods. Sometimes, Isapera visits the fairies in the woods and sometimes they come and visit at the castle.

Another year has come and gone. Isapera is getting ready for her Wedding to Romanoff. She feels she won't be lonely anymore. Her sister Sue is marrying Prince Leonardo and they will all be living at the castle. Isapera feels like the fairies have sprinkled love dust on her but she doesn't care. Frey and the Ice Princess have shown up for the Wedding but Isapera no longer carries a touch for Frey. She is happy to have a life with Romanoff. She will still be the Christmas Goddess and Isapera is happy with her life.
