I sit here in my mind
Your face I long to find
Wanting to look into your beautiful brown eyes
with their ability to look past all my lies
Your smile shinning with a radiance
Your voice loud with military cadence
I see you running to give me a hug
I wrap my arms around you and keep you warm and snug
Your laughter over joys me as you can plainly see
None will ever know how much it means to me
Your touch is all I feel
Like a gift wrapped in a special seal
Your deep passionate kiss
Is something anyone would miss
Your anger just isn't fair
Our fights make me wear
But in the end its alright
Our love lasted yet another night
All this started as a game
Wanting to win our goals the same
From the beginning with you I was real
Then my heart you did steal
As we got near
You started to fear
Although something was amiss
We got close and shared a kiss
Your wild fire I couldn't tame
Thinking of you drove me insane
Then I chased you in the rain
All you had was torment and pain
As the tears streamed down your face
I was frozen stuck in place
When you walked away
My body began to sway
I wouldn't couldn't lose you
Especially not in this way
I aimed for something I couldn't miss
And gave you that everlasting kiss
Your smile drove my clouds away
And brought my sun out for another day
I didn't know just what to say
But you knew I loved you anyway
You look up at the sky
Then stare me in the eye
You say they're blue as the ocean
You tremble like the grounds in motion
You're the angel in it all
The cause of this blue eyed devil's fall
You are my tragic flaw
The chink in my armor no one saw
You saw my heart and made it grow
The seed of my love only you sow
Love kills slowly as you say
But you are wrong
You destroyed me in just one day
The list could go on forever
Fully say what you mean to me I could never
I was crushed and found a shelter
In the dark cold as winter
I saw you and my heart began to heat
Who'd have thought I'd find someone this sweet
Your loves an ocean the current strong
If I tried to fight I'd be dead wrong
You brought in life
To my helpless imprisonment of ice
A thousand miles even more
I'd travel to be at your door
To see your face and flowing hair
Try holding back the smile and not stare
Without you I'd be lost
Being with you feeling is the only cost
You said you don't get attached but you do
I turn to look at you
I say I don't care but it's not true
Cuz you know I'm in love with you
This town of ours destroys hopes and dreams
But you make mine grow it seems
I hope you feel the same as me
But only you can let me see
You light my flame of passion
A blazing inferno of grand fashion
Do I do the same to you
Or will this be done when time passes through
Is this it or is there more
Is this what we live for
If you walk away tomorrow
And never feel a pang of sorrow
I may sit and fret
But your a choice I won't regret
