SUPPORT OUR TROOPS

They packed their bags,
and said goodbye.
Their families cry,
but don't ask why.

We sit here;
safe at home.
They sleep at night;
all alone.

They risk their lives.
They miss their wives.
They miss their families,
and their child.

What they must dnow,
is what we feel.
How our support of them,
is very real

What do they need?
What can we do?
To let them know;
to get them through.

Difficult times -
I'm sure they're scared.
Some don't come home;
some come home impaired.

We need them there,
while we are here.
We depend on them,
we shed a tear.

Let's shout it loud.
Let's make it clear.
To all our troops -
We love you, dear!
