Listen!  Hear it drifting gently on the breeze.
It's the sound of music playing, rich and clear.
Does it lift you up onto a higher plane?
Does it melt your heart and do you shed a tear?

Do you stop and listen, do you take the time
to let beauty drape it's warmth around your soul?
Do you hold it close against you, breathe it in,
has it got just what you need to make you whole?

Let the music wash away the misery.
You can't change the past, the things that went before.
You should live each day as if it were the last.
Must you carry pain inside for evermore?

Feel the melody inside you like a smile.
Let it's concord cleanse you with it's healing balm.
Dispel the hurt; let new courage found, fly free.
Let the music wrap around you, keep you calm.
