~ Guardian ~

I called upon him in my dreams,
and he heard my call.
he protects me from all my fears
and makes sure that I don't fall.

when the dream becomes to strong ,
and I can not seem to hide.
he takes my hand and comforts me ,
and holds me close to his side.

he fights off all my demons,
that haunt me in the night.
He guards me and protects me,
and keeps me out of sight.

I never saw his face ,
But I felt him come around.
He'd come to me through the mist ,
and lift me high off of the ground.

protection from my fears,
protection from the fight,
protection from the one,
who scares me in the night.

but then one day he gave me,
the strength to fight inside,
said now he'd stand beside me,
and with those words I cried.

through the mist I looked around,
he stood there in the light,
Now I finally see him,
"my guardian in the night"

I wrapped my arms around him,
and held on for dear life,
the man who had protected me,
though all my lonely nights....

was the one that I'm inlove with,
the one who holds my soul,
he's the one who helped me ,
take back my own control.

now he'll stand beside me,
and together we will be,
we'll help each other in all fights,
together Dan and me.
