The power of the angels

Some believe the cosmic Powers of the angels,
Are here to try and save humankind.
Personified powers mediating
From that which is loves great divine.
We embrace the beliefs of god's council,
And speak of them through our hearts and our minds.
The ranks of the archangels,
Stand before god's throne.
Victorious against the devil,
This once tried to take their heavenly home.
The demonic angels come here to deceive us,
But we know that they too will be cast out once more.
As our guardian angel takes up battle,
And there is peace in his arms forevermore.
