how crazy one can become
I've built my home behind enemy lines
and Im sick of sneaking in
you've jumped the fence
and peeking in my windows is makin me nervous
but this time I'll lock these doors tight
tighter then hold you got on my callosum
you've started with the attic
and its only burning to the ground
let the rubble burn to ash
and the ash turn to dust
and let the dust settle on someone elses shelves
I have to keep this clean
or I'll be lost in the mess
if you cant see the floor you cant see where you're going
listen child you've been misbehaving and we cant have that
so you're makin me put skin back on that serpent
after it was shed long ago
I just want this to make a perfect fit
I just want these fingers to get comfortable around your throat
I'll cut out these eyes so you can see what you've done
I'll sever these hands so you can feel what you've accomplished
and I'll take the legs that ran from me
so you can finally sit in peace in the cataclysm you help create
answer me this
is there one backwards card or is the whole deck wrong faced
my eyes are full
but I havent had my feast yet
you glow such a pretty yellow
and I cant but help lay in your fire
the burning doesnt bother me
its the scars that hurt
these scabs arent healing themselves
and all Im doin is poking and proding
the ashes have been stirred so many times
I know I wont find any warm exchange
but whenever did it hurt the fisherman to try again
all I see is broken glass
but all I feel is a mirror that couldnt reflect any better
this has already been embedded
now put some sun on this so it knows where to grow
