Love Lost

         She lay, thinking of him, her only love. How he could leave her she didn’t know, but he had. No amount of persuasion would change his mind. He got on the plane and walked out of her life for good. The phone rang.
         “Hello.”
         “Open the door.” She obeyed and was swept into his arms.
