(RACHEL'S BACK!)
Chapter 1. A Visitor.

Rachel picked up the black nail polish, and took off the cap. She smelt the original, new fresh smell. She wasn't doing that to get high, like all the preps do, but she just liked the smell of new nail polish. She carefully began to paint her left thumb when her sister Janine called out her name.

"What?!" Rachel yelled back, begining to paint the next nail with the glistening polish.

"Randy is here to talk to you!" She giggled opening her room door.

"Fine." She stood up, placing her polish down. She had only painted her thumb and fore finger, oh would she look like a dork. Bouncing down the stairs she found Randy by the front door. "Hey." She said landing on the ground floor.

"Hey. So are you doing anything tonight?"

Rachel tried to raise one eyebrow, but ended up raising both out of stupidity. "Why? You know James is my boyfriend."

"No, no. Not a date. Me, Kris, Camron and maybe Renee are going to go to like a bar or something."

"Not inviting James? Plus we are only 17, we won't pass for a 21 year old."

"James said no and Renee is thinking about it. I've got fake ID's right here using our school pictures. So what do you say?"

"Umm. Well I don't know...If I get caught I'd be grounded for life..." She said, looking down at her feet.

"Come on. You never get caught for anything. Myspace, sneaking out, passing notes and chewing gum during class. You haven't even had your cell phone taken away for texting!" He reassured her.

"Well...I don't know...I don't drink, unlike you!" She pointed a finger with rage at his face. She looked like a mother scodilng her child.

"Been since I was 13." He smiled pushing her arm down. "So what do you say?"

She rubbed her arm as she thought. I'll look like a pussy if I don't go...And if I do go I might get drunk...And even if I don't drink what about all the guys there that might what something...And I might get caught...Plus James isn't going so I might look like a slut...

"So?" Randy asked.

"I'm going to have to pass on this one Randy, sorry. But I can't get in trouble now, I just got my new blackberry and I don't want it to be taken away. Sorry."

"Fine.." Randy pouted as he opened the door and walked out. He slammed the door shut right in Rachel's face.

"Bitch." She commented then ran upstairs to finish painting her nails.

Chapter 2. Drunken Fool.

Rachel sat in her room admiring her nails. She usually skrews something up when she paints her nails. Like getting most on her skin or messing them up before they dry but this time, they were perfect. Completely and utterly perfect. The black shined agaist her tan skin and complemented her black toenails. Rachel didn't even need to put on a clear coat afterward, they were just too perfect to touch again.

"Ahh, a job well done!" She commented as she began to undress and put on her pajama's for bed. "Tomorrow is Saturday...Hrmm this will be interesting. I'll have to call Renee and see if she went." Rachel snuggeled with her stuffed wolf she made when she was in thrid grade. She's always slept with it since then. And now this may sound corny, but that stuffed wolf, named Katie, she made a wish on her since she was her first build-a-bear. Her wish was for Katie to come alive, and amazingly she could tell her wish came true. Rachel would know Katie's emotions, sure she knew she was only a stuffed animal, but she was alive to her and thats all that really mattered. Plugging her ipod in her isnuggle, a green pillow that played music, she laid down in her bed.

Usually Rachel never sleeps in her bed on a day other than a school night, but this case was different. Sleeping on the couch, where anyone could see her, especially since Randy could come home drunk and hour now, was very disturbing. Plus who knows who he would bring with him? And having her mother on a buisness trip in Pennsylvannia, and being in charge of the house wasn't so peachy. Good thing I didn't tell Randy that, or else he would REALLY think I was a pussy for not going! He would say I couldn't get caught...But oh I would. My sister would know and tatle the moment my mom got home. She rolled over and looked up at the ceiling and said aloud, "I wonder what those guys are doing right now..." And with that thought she fell asleep.

---

"Ding Dong Ding Dong" Rang the doorbell, extremely loudly by the way. Rachel burst awake. She was having an amazing dream about a king and a queen and a war in England."What time is it damnit?!" she said annoyed. Picking up her red blackberry cell phone she saw the time loud and clear as if it was in huge letters appearing on the screen. "3:34?!! MOTHER-" She didn't finish the thought, but got up and walked out of her room and down the stairs. She saw four dark figures outside the glass door. "Could it be?" She asked aloud, peering through the glass door. Noticing the four familier faces, she opened the door. "What the fuck are you doing here in the middle of the night?!"

Renee walked in giving Rachel a hug. "Well...Long story." She said standing next to her and watched Camron and Kris bring in a long haired boy who looked about to pass out. "Randy got drunk." She smiled.

"Joy. And why are you bringing him here?" Rachel asked slightly tempted to throw all of them out of her house.

Kris answered, "He said if he got drunk to bring him here because he didn't want his mom to find out."

"He didn't tell me this!" Rachel protested, tilting up Randy's chin. She saw he was dazed and had almost a lazy eye. He mumbled something about a wandering pig in the middle of a desert with three beers and a bumble bee. "Dang how many did he have?"

"About 12..." Camron whispered.

"BEERS?!" I screeched, not caring about waking up my sister anymore.

"Yeah..." Camron, Kris and Renne said together.

"And you didn't try to stop him?!" Rachel screamed, seriously pissed off now.

"Umm we tried to but-"

"He was about to-"

"Murder us he was-"

"So drunk at-"

"The time."

They had finished each others sentences so fast Rachel could almost not tell who said what.

"God almightly..." Rachel said, taking one of Randy's arms. "Now I have to stay up all night and make sure he doesn't get into my mom's wine."

"Well bye then!" Renee said quickly.

"Bye! Thanks!" Kris choppily stated.

"Goodnight!" Camron also said as they all ran out the door.

"WAIT COME BACK! YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME ALL ALONE! COME BACK!" Rachel ran to the open door and watched the car roll by. "Oh fuck."

Chapter 3. Surprise, Surprise.

Rachel slammed the door and turned around to see Janine at the top of the stairs. "What's going on?" She asked, tired.

"Oh nothing, you can go back to sleep." Rachel lied, she didn't want her to tatle to mom about her friend getting drunk. Not a great welcome home present. Rachel walked over to the couch where Randy was lying on. "Oh joy. Lucky me."

"Wha?" The drunken teen asked.

"Nothing. Nothing. Do you want something to eat or drink or something?"

Randy stood up, but wobbled a lot. "I want a beer." Then he burped.

"Ewww...Not in my house, beer or burping. I'll get you some water and fruit." She shook her head and rolled her eyes, This will be a LONG night. When Rachel got back into the living room, Randy was acting like a duck. "What are you doing?!" She mumbled holding a water bottle and a fresh apple.

"QUACK! QUACK!" He shouted, squating and waving his arms around like a fowl. Rachel just sat on the couch and turned on the tv. Randy would waddle around, quacking like a maniac, then he fell over. Rachel shot up and saw him on the ground, fainted.

"Crap!" She gasped then got now on her knees right next to him. She started to slap him in the face. "WAKE UP!"

His eyelids opened and he garled almost. "Umm Randy are you-OH MY GOD!" Rachel screamed as Randy vomited all over her. She began screaming and rushing around, leaving Randy on the floor only moments from unconciousness.

Rachel ran to her mother's bedroom and jumped in the shower, with her pajamas still on. After she washed, she borrowed some of her moms night clothes. And when she walked out to the livingroom. Randy was gone.

Chapter 4. Unexpected.

"Randy!" Rachel whispered, looking around. "Randy!" She spoke a little louder. "Randy this isn't funny!" She gasped, becoming scared. "Where are you?!" She called out. "Please! Please come out!" She sat on the couch, shivering. She was scared, seriously scared. What's going to happen? He's drunk and now missing! What if he brings back a gun or something?! As she thought this her head was pulled back and a cold blade was placed on her neck.

"Don't move." A deep voice said. Randy!

"W-what do you w-want?" Rachel stuttered.

"Take off you shirt." He ordered.

"NO!" She screamed, and the blade bit deeper on her throat.

"Do it, now!" He yelled.

"Hell no!" She replied. The blade turned slicing her neck a little. She cringed. "Never." She whispered, then grabbed the hand holding the knife and turned to the other way, stood up and took the knife. "Hah!" She chuckled. Randy walked over to her until he was within striking distance.

"Would you really try to kill me?" He asked. Rachel stood still knife in hand. "You couldn't live with the guilt. Could you?" He shifted right next to her and put his hand on her neck where the blood was spewing out. She tenced from the pain, and clenched the knife. He played with her blood between his fingers.

"Leave my house. Now." She commanded.

He shrugged and started to walk out towards the front door. He turned the handle and before he left he said, "Your fear was enough." and he left.

Chapter 5.

Rachel trembled and dropped the blood stained knife to the floor. "What in the-" She couldn't finish the sentence. Leaving the knife on the floor she went to the bathroom to clean up her neck. She noticed it was a very small cut, but lots of blood had escaped. "Damn." She commented and she wet a towel and cleaned it.

After drying off she went back to the livingroom to lock the front and back door, just to check to make sure they were. Then she rushed up the stairs and into her room. Her heart was still beating fast just thinking about what happened.

Rachel laid in her bed, thinking. Why the hell did I let him stay here? I could have made him go home...Why didn't I make him go home? Why did Camron, Kris and Renee leave me with a drunk teenager? I could have DIED! She rolled over and fell asleep with those thoughts in her head.

---

The next morning Rachel woke up with Janine right next to her. Rachel screamed and fell off the bed. "WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING?!"

"Well I heard screaming last night...I was really scared."

"Everything's fine. Go away." Rachel ordered, and she fled from the room. "Urgg." Rachel got up and grabbed her red cell phone and dialed Renee's number. The phone rang until Renee's voice was heard. "Renee you need to come to my house so I can tell you what happened."

Chapter 6. A Retelling of Events.

"Oh my gosh." Was the only words that came from Renee's mouth. Her jaw just trembled thinking about what her and her friends had put Rachel through.

"Yeah." Rachel nodded, twidling her thumbs.

They both sat in silence for a long time, until Renee said something, "James needs to know."

"NO!" Rachel yelled, "NO! It's too embarrassing! No PLEASE don't make me tell him! It's way too humiliating! Please please please!"

"Well he'll know anyway...We also need to tell Camron and Kris. They need to feel guilty!" She picked up her cell phone and begin to dialand Rachel jumped almost on top of her to grab the cell phone away. They heard a deep recognizeable voice, Kris.

"Hello?" He said.

"KRIS! Do you know what Randy tried to do to Rachel last night?" Renee breathed between getting pumbled.

"No, what?" Kris replied not even caring.

"HE TRIED TO GET INTO HER PANTS!" And then they heard a crash over the phone.

"WHAT?!" Kris screeched, they could tell he had fall off his chair.

"Grrrrr." Rachel growled and sat on the floor. "Yeah...And he about murdered me..."

"I'm getting James and Camron and we're coming over!" And Kris hung up.

"NO!" Rachel screamed into the disconnected phone. "NO! DON'T!" After throwing the remains of Renee's cell phone, she had given up and sat drearily on the floor. "What are we going to do when they get here?"

Then the dorrbell rang right on que.

"I guess, just wing it!" And Renee ran out the door.

Chapter 7. The Boys are Here.

James slammed his fists on the glass door, seeming he would shatter it. Once Renee had opened it he took her shoulders and shook her. "WHERE IS RACHEL?!"

As Renee's brain was rattled, she nodded to the stairs, where Rachel was. James an up to her and hugged her with all his might. "Are you ok?" He whispered in her ear.

She hugged back and replied, "Now I am." They looked into each other's eyes and smiled. Then holding hands they walked down half the stairs and into the living room with Camron, Kris and Renee.

They all sat down on the two couches, Kris and Camron both feeling awkward for some reason, when Rachel should be the one feeling awkward. And she was was! Renee sat and said, "Sooooo. Does everyone know? So what are we goin to do about it?"

Everyone just shrugged, then Camron asked Rachel something. "What's on your neck?" And all eyes were turned to her sliced neck. James was shocked, Renee and Kris and Camron scared looking.

"Randy did that..." Rachel mumbled rubbing the blood red cut.

James stood up and said, "I' going to beat that bastard's ass!" He walked to the door, followed by a running teary eyed Rachel.

"It won't solve anything!" She whined trying to get him to stop.

He stood still. "If anyone messes with my girl they have to answer to me."

"NO! I can take care of myself! I took the knife from him and got him to leave! I will beat him up if I want to!" Rachel whined tugging on James' shirt.

He mumbled something about beating him up later, but he returned to the couch. Renee stood up, "So what are we going to do about this?"

Camron shrugged, so did Kris, James' said something about making his statement and Rachel remained quiet. Renee sat back down. "Well we could always just not let Rachel out of our sight..."

"PERFECT!" James yelled, and grasped Rachel's hand tightly.

"Good plan." Camron nodded. "I agree, we could take shifts, but she'd always have to be with a boy. Sorry Renee."

Renee replied, "Well don't blame ya, I wouldn't wanna be alone with no guy with Randy. Ew."

"So we're taking shifts guarding Rachel from Randy?" Kris asked, "Kinda pathetic."

"What would you say if it was Renee in this position!" James snapped.

Kris and Renee both had disgusted looks on their faces. Camron began laughing hard, then he began talking about the plan. "Ok, well school starts the day after tomorrow, and we could go by class period. James you have her first through fifth. Kris you have her 6th, 7th and 9th and I'll have her 8th for spanish. Deal?"

"Deal." James said.

"Deal." Kris said.

"Deal." Renee said.

"Deal." Camron said.

All four put their hands in the middle, then stared at Rachel. She shivered, the spoke the words in a small voice while putting her hand in, "Deal."

Chapter 8. Plan in Session

Rachel waited in the cafeteria for James. "Where is he?" She whined, scared as Randy hadn't been on the bus, so he could be anywhere. She turned her head to the door and saw Kris, Renee and James waltz through the door right on time.

They all ran to the center, to hug each other. Rachel smiled and held James' hand as the four walked out of the cafeteria and down the hall to the gym. They walked while jabbering about something when they saw a blonde haired boy run towards them.

"What Camron?" Kris asked.

"Randy wants to talk to you Rachel, alone." Camron heaved.

"Hell no, tell him to go fuck himself!" Rachel shot back as James held her closer.

"Fine, but he says he won't take no for an answer." Camron raised his shoulders then took off to find Randy.

"I'm going to go with him." Kris said and followed him.

"Now what?" Rachel asked, as they began to walk again.

"Let's go to class instead of the gym." Renee spoke and they turned the other way. As they walked down the hall, nothing unusual happened. They stopped by Renee's locker first, but then they noticed they had only about five minutes to go to James' and Rachel's locker so they left her there and quickly went to James.

"Well so far so good Rachel." James spoke, his head buried in his locker. There was no reply. "Rachel?" He questioned and turned around to where Rachel was standing right behind him, but she was gone.

Chapter 9.

Rachel's mouth was covered and eyes were only showing her what was in front of her, not who was pushing her forward. She mumbled and screamed, but no one could hear her. She even bit the hand, but the person didn't even move his or her hand. But she was sure it was a guy. Kicking and mumbling through his hand, she was still dragged into a supply closet. He through her onto the ground and locked the door. She hit her head on the floor hard and cut open her cheek, leaving a big bloodly cut.

She sat up and saw Randy right next to the door. "I should have known." She said, standing up. "What do you want now? Your not drunk anymore, you should know better!" She yelled.

He stood there and said not a word, just looked at her with hungry eyes.

"Stop looking at me like that!" She screamed, "Let me out! I don't want to talk to you! Now or ever!"

He just walked forward and she backed up. "STOP!" She screeched. "GET AWAY!" He didn't stop, he just came closer and closer. She kept backing up until she was on the wall. "STOP!" She yelled, as he was holding her agaisnt the wall. She tried to kick him, but he had gotten too close and she had missed her chance. She tried to get her hands out to protect her, but they were by her side, and his arms were holding them down. He tried to kiss her but she kept her head to the side, and her hair in her face.

"Stop that bitch!" He yelled, then he kneed her in the stomach. She gasped and turned forward without thinking, and he began to kiss her. She couldn't stop him. Thoughts ran through her head as this was happening, then she thought of something. She bit. Hard. His tounge was just about to go into her mouth, and she bit just in time to make his tounge bleed.

He moved back and cried out in pain, blood gushing from his mouth. He mumbled something that sounded like, "What was that for?!"

"What do you think?" Rachel unlocked the door and left the room.

Chapter 10.

James ran up and down the halls searching for Rachel. He looked around, and accidentally ran into Renee. "Renee! Where's Rachel?!"

"I haven't seen her, and it was your shift!" She yelled hitting him on the top of the head.

"I was at my locker and I turned around and she was gone!" He whined, scared now.

"We'll find her," She reasured pating him on the back.

"Find who?" Said a voice from behind. They turned around and saw Rachel right there, a little blood on her lips.

Chapter 11.

"RACHEL!" James sreamed and ran to hug her. "I was so worried! What happened?!" He asked, looking at the blood gushing from her cheek and the blood, seemingly different, in color and form on her lips.

"Oh well I got hit in the hallway when you were at your locker, and I rushed to the bathroom to clean up before telling you. And the room was full so I just didn't clean up thinking I'll go later after I tell you what happened." She quickly lied.

"Then why is there different blood on your lips?" Renee asked, coming closer to see the details.

Rachel reached to her lips and saw on her fingertips the blood of Randy. "Oh. Well...I don't know..." She licked her lips to quickly get rid of the blood. She smiled, "Yum. You know blood tastes pretty good!"

James gave her a look meaning he was scared, but in a joking way. Renee was still suspicious. Rachel smiled on the inside, Good that little comment got James' mind off the question, Renee on the other hand, forgets everything so she shouldn't remember before she can ask again.

"Well I better go clean up, then get to class." Rachel smiled and waved goodbye.

"Wait, it's my shift. I better go with you." James said graping her arm.

"No." Renee said with a cold tone. "She would have to go to the girls bathroom. I'll take this shift."

"But-" James protested.

"No, go to class. You can watch her next period." Renee snapped and grabbed Rachel, dragging her to the bathroom.

Chapter 12.

Renee, apparently angry dragged Rachel into the bathroom and slammed her onto the floor. "Second time in ten minutes..." She mumbled, rubbing the same cheek feeling a new cut had formed.

"Why did you lie back there?!" She asked.

Standing up and looking in the mirror at the blood that rushed from her cheek, Rachel didn't answer.

Renee walked over and dug her nails into her arm, "Answer me."

"No." She growled back.

"Rachel, I need to know." She urged letting go of her vice grip.

"No you don't. And F.Y.I., I don't need to be watched 24/7, because the four of you don't pay attention to me AND I can take care of myself." Rachel stated firmly, trying to whipe of the blood, and then drink it from her hand.

"But Rachel, we just want to protect you." She said softly.

"NO!" Rachel yelled, "I don't need to be protected, I've saved myself twice without anyone's help! And now I realize, you can't trust anyone but yourself, Because if James was listening, I asked to stay at your locker until you were done. But guess what? No, he didn't listen. I never should have said deal to this dumb plan."

"So now your blaming James for all of this?" Renee said loudly, "He was worried sick about you and you know it! He really cares for you and if Randy ever got to you, how bad do you think he would feel? Hrmm?!"

"I'm not blaming James!" She yelled, "I blame you, Kris and Camron for bringing him to my house in the first place! I told you guys NOT to leave me alone with him! And again, noooo you didn't listen!" Rachel whiped the last of the dripping blood then rushed out the door.

Renee stood in the bathroom. She looked in the mirror at her reflection. Blonde hair and porcelin skin. "Now what?" She asked herself.

Chapter 13.

Rachel stormed to her locker. Crouching to the ground she opened it with ease. Grabbing her history spiral she slammed the locker shut. I'm going to skip english, it's boring anyway. She thought. She walked down the empty halls and past the classrooms. Still first period I see. About halfway down the hall, she saw a boy turn the corner and walk towards her. She automatically turned the other way, she didn't want to talk to anyone, espeicially not-

"Hey! Rachel, wait up!" Camron yelled and ran down the hall to her. He put his hand on her arm, "Where's James? Isn't it his shift?"

"I don't know where he is, but I quit this whole people watch over me thing. It's rediculous! I can't do anything I want to do and Randy isn't even interested anymore!" She half lied.

"Nuh-uh." Camron shook his head, "I talked to Randy this morning, he said your hot when your resistant, I of course don't agree at all!"

Rachel let out a long and loud, "EW!"

"What? I don't agree! Sheesh, but Randy thinks that, so when he wants something he gets it. Remember when Kris said he could have any girl he wants? Well for some strange reason, he wants you." Camron said, looking into her eyes hat were now filled with fear.

"He won't get this girl." She said as the bell rang, and the halls filled with people, and the two were lost from each other in the crowd.

Chapter 14. How Everything was Set up.

Kris roamed the empty halls. It was still first period, and after talking to Camron and Randy, he was flustered. He knew he wouldn't be able to concentrate in art, so he skipped first period and just thought. "Why does Randy like Rachel?" He asked aloud. "It doesn't make any sence. So she hot when she's resistant, so what?" He had a mental image and shuddered. "That's about as gross as Reburto asking her why she wasn't a cheerleader." He walked around and started to hear noises coming from a supply closet. He put his ear to the door and heard screams and pleads. "That's Rachel!" He realized, then he heard a boy's voice say, "Stop that bitch!", "That's Randy!" He yelled. He turned the door knob but it was locked. "Damn it!" Kris ran down the halls, searching for Renee's and James' and Camron's first period.

He first found Renee in her english class. Motioning to her, Kris was able to get her to get a bathroom pass and she came out to meet him. "What do you want Kris?" She asked, slightly annoyed.

"I heard Rachel and Randy in the supply closet, and it didn't sound good. The door was locked so I couldn't get in. You go check and see if they unlocked the door, while I go get Camron." He quickly told her then he ran across the hall and began to motion to Camron. Renee rushed down the opposing hall and toward the suply closet, she turned the knob and it opened with ease.

"Hello?" She asked. Looking in, she saw nobody in there. "Damn." Renee turned around and walked down the hall, turning the corner, she ran right into James.

---

Camron had just been told by Kris to search the halls for Rachel. Kris, just a few minutes ago, got caught without a hall pass, so he was in the assisant princapal's office answering questions. He trudged past the bathrooms, hearing some racxket from the girls room, but he paid no attention, Some stupid cat fight probably. He thought. He tunred the corner and walked a few steps. Passing another corner he took it, but seeing the vice principal he took a quick U turn and walked back down the hall, where he saw Rachel.

Chapter 15.

Rachel was surrounded by he fellow 8th graders, something she really really didn't want at the moment. She just wanted to be alone. Her friends weren't helping one bit, and learning was definetly not going to help. But either way she marched right into her history classroom, ignoring Charlotte who wanted to talk to her about some random thing like volleyball tryouts. About three other girls tried to talk to her, but Rachel just ignored them and doodled in her spiral and sang to herself the song, "Crawling" by Linkin Park.

Her black nail polish gleamed for once in the past few days. She heard the surrounding people talk about her, about how emo she was. They could see the tiny cuts on her fingers, the large cuts on her cheek, and the large blood blister on her pinky. They were each fresh from the night before. Why she did them? Not even she knows. They blood blister was from using a knife to cut up some plastic tupperware in a drawer, and then hitting her pinky hard on the drawer. She really wished the blood had came out, just for the longing taste of blood. Rachel touched her cheek, feeling a few driplets of fresh blood. She licked off the blood, about scaring the teacher out of her wits, let alone the class. Even her friends were slightly scared.

She shrugged, at this point she didn't care what other people think. Usually she would care if someone didn't like her because they thought she was a "slut" or a "whore" or whatever other title you could think of, but she never cared if someone absolutely hated her. And today, she didn't give a shit what everyone thouht her as, emo or bitch, she didn't care.

She looked up at the clock, about to strike 9:05, and Mrs. Mattingly thinking we had an extra ten minutes. Begining to pack up, the bell rang and she was one of the first to leave. She got to her locker quickly and walked to her math class, but was pulled back by someone. She saw James, worried.

"I heard." He said, looking deep into her eyes. She felt tears run down her face and sting her cuts. She turned away and rushed into her math class. Sitting down she began to cry, hard. Shaking and trying not to cough up her guts from not eating today.

David, one of James' friends, was talking on the other side of the room, until he noticed Rachel lying on her desk. He walked over to her and tapped her on her right shoulder then jumped over the the left side. Rachel taught herself to always look the other way when tapped on the shoulder, so she saw David automatically on her left side. Tears stained her face, blood still dripping. "Here, let's go to the nurse." He pat her on the back. She thought, but then nodded. Standing up, she left her things on her desk. He lead her to the teacher, and asked her if he could take Rachel to the nurse. Mrs. Rey looked sad at the state of Rachel, but she wrote the nurse note none the less. David took the note and thanked the teacher, and lead Rachel out of the room and down the hall.

"What's the matter?" David asked after they had exited the 8th grade hallway.

"N-nothing." She studdered.

"Come on Rach, something's up." He said, "Like the ceiling." He joked.

Rachel laughed just a little, David could make almost any moment funny with his randomness. No wonder Nikki is dating him. Rachel thought. She looked at David and answered, "I don't want to really say it out loud...But you could ask Renee or James, they know." She then coughed, and almost barfed, but since she had not eaten breakfast this morning, or dinner last night, there was no food in her. Oh did it hurt like hell. She stopped in her tracts, and so did David.

"Are you OK?" He asked, a little scared.

She began to feel really tired, and sat down on the tile floor, in the middle of the hallway. "I'm fine, just really tired..." After a moment or two of heavy breathing she stood up. She couldn't see anything though, just mixed colors. She couldn't walk real straight.

"Rachel, what's going on?" He asked. They heard a loud grumble from Rachel's stomach. "When was the last time you ate?"

Rachel stood still, "Umm. Two days ago I think..." Then she tried to walk again to the nurses office, but fell over in the process to the ground.

David went over to her frantickly, and asked, "Why haven't you eaten?!"

She smiled and answered, "I've had worse things on my mind." Then she fainted.

Chapter 16. Scared.

Rachel was running down the halls, from something. She turned back around and saw the face of Randy on a "grotesque" from the book "Cirque du Freak" by Darren Shan. It had many hands on a large gross body looking slightly like a worm. His head was huge, and he had fangs that contained explodable venom. She ran down the plains and into a large white temple, where she found a crowd of indian looking people. They wore pink robes, and they were a dark brown color. They were facing the other way, worshiping the high pillars that held tubes and tubes of liquid.

There were only four indians though, and when they turned around, she saw the faces of Kris, Camron, Renee and James. She screamed and began to run the other way, when she came face to face with Randy. She looked the other way and saw the indians coming torward her like zombies. She screamed and then sat up.

She saw the faces of David, James and Renee at her bedside. She looked around and found herself in the nurses office. The nurse wasn't here right now thought. Rachel felt her forhead and there was sweat running all over her face. She laid back down. James was holding onto her hand, and she squeezed hard. Renee and David looked at her solemly, and said not a word. James said nothing until Rachel asked, "So it was just a dream?"

"Yes, just a horrible nighmare. Nothing to be afraid of." He said, wishing he could smile.

She frowned, "Right...Nothing to be afraid of..." She stood up and wobbled a little.

"Sit, you need to eat something before going back to class." Renee said, acting mother-like.

"No I'm fine." Rachel protested. Walking out of the nurses office.

"She probably wants to just be alone." Renee sighed, placing her head on her hands. "We can't do anything anymore..."

"Don't give up Renee!" James yelled almost, "We can't! If we don't help her who will?"

"She can help herself." Renee replied quietly.

"Renee!" James shook her by the shoulder. "What are you saying?"

"She won't accept our help!" She yelled, standing up. "And if she won't accept our help, and she just gets mad at us, I don't think we should give out help to be accepted!" Renee stormed out of the nurses office leaving David and James all alone. And not even David could find the comical sence in this situation.

Chapter 17.

Rachel wobbled down the halls. What's going on with me? She walked down the main hall and passed the lunch room. She saw her friends all sitting at their table, happy and laughing. She longed to much to just go in there as a normal person and eat lunch with her friends. She saw Emielia and Manilla and Charlotte, Nikki, Maddie, Taylor, Lori, and so many others it hurt.

She trudged on and went into the bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror. She was pale as a sheet, paler than a sheet. "Great what am I going to do now?" Rachel asked herself. Then she heard footsteps outside, she ran into one of the stalls and locked the door. She stood on the toliet so who ever it was wouldn't think she was in here.

The door swung open, and she heard crying. Not big juicy emo tears, but crying. The tears hit the floor and whoever it was sobbed. Eventually the girl said something, but not what Rachel wish she heard. "Stupid Rachel, why does she always care about herself? God, can't she get it?" Renee.

Rahcel's eyes widened and she perked up her ears even more. SHe didn't hear anymore talking, but Renee stopped crying. Then she fled the bathroom, and probably went to the lunch table.

Rachel opened the stall and walked out and saw the puddle of tears on the ground. "What's her problem?" Rachel asked to her reflection. She noticed tears had formed in her own eyes. She swiped them away and turned to the door. She snuck out, she needed to know if Renee was back at the table. She tiptoed to the edge of the door and peeked through. She looked at her table, Renee not in sight. She looked around the whole cafeteria, trying not to be spoted by anyone, and saw Renee in the very back at a table full of guys. Including Kris, Camron, some other people she didn't know, and none other than the infamous, Randy.

Chapter 18. Jamaica isn't the greatest Vacation spot.

Rachel closed the cafeteria door. She put her back to the door and slid down. "What the fuck..." she said as she thought. What the fuck is Renee doing? Why in the world is she hanging with RANDY?! I mean I don't blame Caleb and Kris for hanging with him, I mean I can't really trust them with much, ever since I met them. But Renee? What was she thinking? And what did she mean in the bathroom? God... Rachel stood up and started to walk down the halls. She heard the growling of her stomache and couldn't bare looking into the cafeteria one more time, all those happy kids eating delicious (ok, not so delicious but anything seems good after going two or three days without eating!). She walked about halfway down the hall to the library and snuck in. Looking around, she saw no one. Rachel went straight to her favorite section of the library. Horror.

She turned the corner and looked at the books. Horror was mixed with mystery so most of them had little stickers of a magnifying glass, but the small about of horror books had a ghost sticker on the side. She looked at about three books, one about werewolves, one about a cat, but the sequel was on werewolves, so she decided to start the series, and one just scary storied to tell at midnight. She read the summeries until she decided to check out the books. After she did, she walked to the table and started to read the werewolf book called, "Red Rider's Hood". Then the bell rang. Only a page and half read, she stood up.

"Woah." She gasped as she tottered up and down and sideways, trying to find her balance. She started to gag. She looked like she was pretending to throw up, but actually she was there was just no food in her body to give away. She heard the copy machine go off in the back room, so the librarian wasn't paying attention to the dying kid in the room. She finally took control and stood up. "I need food."

Rachel slumped out of the room, trying to run, but not having the energy. She had to walk to the other side of the school to the vending machines, and there were luckily only a few kids in the halls because the bell was about to ring for class to start. She was in the very center of the building when the bell took it's toll. The hall completely emptied, but Rachel tore on. Only a few more feet, then ice cream, chips, gatorade, and any other food I want! She thought as she walked on, trying to keep her vision and head straight. Her thigh started to cramp and burn. "What else can you throw at me?!" She screamed into thin air.

She was next to the cafeteria, and the hall behind it held the prize she was aiming for. She almost limped to the very end of the hall and took a right turn. Rachel's eyes widened as she looked at the filled vending machines, she was so into looking at the fudge bar, she didn't notice the iron bars barricading the vending machines from the public. She tried to touch the picture of the chocolate, but her hand hit the iron. The cold iron. She almost screamed. NO! NO! NO! She grabbed the bars with both hands and started to jangle them. "NO!" She acidentally screeched aloud. "Damn," She whispered. Pulling a dollar from her pocket, she tried to reach the vending machine and put in the dollar, she luckily got it in but with great effort. Pressing her body as close as she could and her arm through the bars, she tried to press the button B4. "Come on!" She stuck out her tongue as she reached for the buttons.

"COME ON!" She whispered, but loudly. She reached for the B button but couldn't reach. She cussed multiple bad words as she gave up. And she even tried to press the return button, but she couldn't reach that either, so the machine stole her money.

She shook her head and sat down, waiting for eighth period to end. She looked at her cell phone. "35 minutes left..." Every five minutes she looked at the time...And after ten minutes she almost went crazy. She felt like screaming and running away. It was just too much. She laid on the floor, almost drifting into a deep slept, but by the time she could fall asleep the bell rang and she quickly stood up from looking like an idiot.

She watched the theatre, band and orcastra people run out of their classrooms like maniacs. Rachel on the other hand, slowly walked to the eighth grade hall. She was still dizzy, but advisory was one of her favorite classes because of all the people there who made her laugh until her lungs bleed. She got to her locker with about two minutes left, and she knew Mrs. Stevens took tardies seriously, so she started to speed up. After chunking all her stuff into her back pack, she ran down the hall, and into the opposing hall and into her class. She sat in her desk just as the bell rang.

Kris sat across from her, Robby diagnal, and Brady next to her. The three of them were completely hilarious, and if you added Rachel in a good mood, Mrs. Stevens would kill them. The three boys stared at her with curiousity and fear almost.

"So the emo returns to class I see." Brady nodded. Rachel asked him with her eyes how he knew, "Heard rumors...Saw you walk, or limp I might say, down the halls."

"Yeah. Me too." Robby added.

Kris looked hard at her, but she just took out a book from her back pack, and just before she could read the first word he asked a question I never thought I would ever hear from Kris.

"What's wrong Rachel?" He asked, seriously wanting to know what was going on. Rachel sighed and looked up from her book. She looked at him with sad eyes, and then he said more. "Renee was really mad at you, whenever we asked her a question about you she changed the subject with anger. So what did you do? ANd why are you acting so weird lately?"

"I did nothing but get attacked! It's not my fault! I couldn't eat I was too deep in thought and trying not to fucking cut myself too badly! AND, I just tried to eat but the bars were covering the machine so all was eaten was my only dollar!" Rachel gasped out, taking long deep breathes and trying not to yell. Robby was staring at her, just as he had been at the girl in his second period. Usually Rachel would look at him quizzically, but now she didn't care. Brady looked from Rachel to Kris and back again.

"Well..." Kris said.

"Well what?!" She snapped back.

"James told me what happened today during math. Are you sure your ok?"

Rachel closed her eyes and nodded, tryin to fight back tears. She could hear Robby opening his backpack and then crunching.

"Here." He said handing her a bag of baked barbeque chips as she opened her eyes. She smiled and thanked him, and just as she opened the bag and started to crunch down on the first chip, Mrs. Stevens was right behind her.

"What are you eating deary?" She asked in a sweet voice. Mrs. Stevens was so nice but...so nice she was a little crazy. She was a little strict on stuff, but enough just to make you do just that.

"Oh, well I haven't eaten in a few days and I'm really hungry so Robby gave me his chips so I just wanted to eat them." Rachel weezed.

Mrs. Stevens gave her that darting look of her's. "A few days?" She asked. Rachel nodded. "I don't think so. Rachel give the chips back to Robby or put them away."

"But-!"

"No buts, just do it." And she left and walked ack to her desk. I closed my eyes and frowned, handing the chips back to Robby.

"I guess the nice Mrs. Stevens is back in Jamaica." Brady joked.
