The sun goes down on summer,
and off to school I tread.
My eyes look bright and hopeful,
my heart is full of dread.
I love to go to school,
but my feet feel like lead.
School just can't be awful,
or is that in my head.
I have to go to school
there is nothing I can do.
The sun goes down on Summer,
and rises on Fall anew.
