EXT-DARLTON ACADEMY-DAY

Students walk pass the black limoscene that Madison is exiting from, and as soon as she does, Dunca comes out, avoiding her as they walk to the school. The driver and a school helper are taking their luggage out of the trunk. She tries to help them, but they give her dirty looks until she finally walks away reluctantly.

MADISON VOICEOVER: I never get use to living the life of a rich person. Most of my life I've been just...normal. Not poor, not rich, just normal. Then a few month ago, everything changes. My father had passed away from cancer and a laywer from my mother's rich family arrived at our door. The same family that had exiled her.

Flash back
In a colorful apartment in New York city in the day; Madison and her mother are sitting on their white couch, wearing black and gray while looking up at the elderly lawyer.

LAWYER: You're brother has heard the news about your husband's untimely death and the lack of funds he left you, and would like to aid you in yoru time of need. He's tried to ocntact you before, but obviously that wasn't successful, so he sent me. He wants to reconcile the family and have both you and your daughter come stay with his family. I think that it would be the best, Ms. Bucanister. I knew your late father and mother, and they would have wanted this.

OLIVIA: It's Mrs. Harrison, Andrew. I'm not a divorcee, but I am realistic. Tell my brother that I accept his offer.
End flashback

EXT:DALTON ACADEMY, HALLWAYS-CONTINUING
MADISON VOICEOVER: And now after a summer of being introduced to the wealthy and shameless, I was going to their school. Since I got here, I knew I didn’t want to belong, not like my new cousin, Duncan. You would think with charms and looks of prince charming, he wouldn’t be the dick that he was.

DUNCAN: If you need anything that isn’t an emergency, go bother someone who cares

Duncan walks past Madison, knocking her shoulder as he passes to go to his locker. His locker is next to his friend, Mikylo, his girlfriend’s friend, Mercedes, and Duncan’s girlfriend, Elizabeth. Duncan kisses Elizabeth as he interrupts a conversation of hers with Mercedes. Madison rolls her eyes.

MADISON VOICEOVER: The pretty, most popular people of Dalton. They wouldn’t be able to survive if they didn’t have money. If Duncan was prince charming, Elizabeth aka Elizabitch, would be his princess. Her ego, OCDness, and backstabbing are as big as her investment banker daddy’s bank account. Her best friend and 2nd in command, Mercedes, the Beyonce wannabe with the wings of a social butterfly with fangs was only nice until her and Elizabitch decides to put you in your place. The snide remarks at Duncan’s birthday pool party three weeks ago put in perspective of where I was with them.

Flashback-In back of Bucanister mansion
Madison is sitting on a lawn chair, writing in her journal and watching over Duncan’s pool party and all his friends laughing around. Elizabeth and Mercedes walk over to her and sit down beside her on a lawnchair.

Mercedes: You must be Madison, the long lost Bucanister. I’m Mercedes Grace, and this is Elizabeth Herrington. We just wanted to welcome you before school started. You looked kind of like a New York loner, so we’re just breaking you out.

Madison: Thanks. I think. So how do you know Duncan?

Elizabeth: I’m his girlfriend. He's probably mentioned me.

Madison: Not really, being the loner I am but we haven’t really gotten to know each other since I just arrived from New York with my mother. If you don’t mind though, I’ll get to know all of you when school starts. I’m kind of still jet lagged.

Elizabeth:Well he’s told us a lot about you, so let’s get this straight now. You’re not a real Bucanister and you’re mom is living on borrowed money and time. There are haves and the have nots. We’re the haves and you’re on the fence for now, so behave and maybe by next semester you will either end up with us or the losers.
End Flashback

EXT: DALton Academy-Hallway; Continuing

Madison voiceover: I think I’d rather be a loser than have backstabbing queen bees as friends. Duncan, a Bucanister true to the Publishing House name, could easily fit into that world with his best friend, Mikylo, the son of two of the best litagators in Georgia. They are destined to be Harvard gentlemen, but without the gentle. They were both charming, intelligent, preppy, devious, and handsome, but oh so dangerous to mess with. At least Mikylo acts nice for appearance sake.

Madison grabs a piece of paper from the wall as she walks down the hall. The title of it is D& M’s hit list which were mostly freshman. At the end of the list read Ethan Santiago.
Madison voiceover: Poor freshmen. A year ago I would have been on this probably and would be taunted all year around even though some upperclassmen especially those in Duncan’s and Mikylo’s way like Ethan Santiago are on the list. I didn’t understand the rest of the family of the It group, which were polar opposites.

Madison sees Giselle waving at her as she walks into her homeroom class with Klaire Ann sitting next to her. Asa and Ethan are sitting behind them. Madison takes a seat next to Giselle, and gives Asa and Ethan a little nod.

Madison voiceover: Giselle, the good twin in my opinion of the Grace sisters. She was a queen bee in her own right. She was too nice to talk about badly and she was friends with the inner crowd. It helps to have blood in it that actually likes you. Klaire Ann, the new stepsister of Elizabitch, was on the outskirts of the It group. A former It group girl turned slight outcast when she became Elizabitch’s new stepsissy. You had to feel bad for the kid, but something tells me in my gut that she is almost as bad as her stepsister, but only put on the Marilyn personality to get away with things especially after the party incident.

Flashback
There is a huge splash, and Madison turns around to see Elizabeth on the sidelines, standing next to Duncan and Mercedes with her arms out. Klaire Ann is in the pool, wearing her white sundress. Elizabeth and Mercedes walk away as Klaire Ann tries not to cry. Madison runs to the pool as everyone ignores Klaire except Giselle, Asa, and Ethan who also helps Klaire Ann out of the pool. Madison hands Klaire Ann a towel that Asa hands to her

Klaire Ann: What a bitch?! Sorry. Thank you for your help. (put her hand out to Madison and Madison shakes the wet hand)Klaire Ann O’Connor. This is Giselle Grace.

Giselle: Hi.

Madison: Madison Harri-Madison Bucanister-Harrison

Giselle: Yeah, my sister told me. Don’t worry, I filtered it like most of what my sister and Elizabeth says. (They help Klaire stand up)You going to be okay, Klaire?

Klaire Ann: As soon as Elizabitch and her minions burns in hell

Asa: You know that’s not going to happen until the world ends. Asa Wyatt, Mikylo’s cousin, and this is my friend, Ethan.

Ethan: Don’t you just love how the only ones who help are the ones that aren’t the minions of the devils. In fact, there the good side of their families.

Giselle: Ethan! (slaps playfully in the arm) Don’t mind him. He’s not a party person.

Madison: Don’t worry. Neither am I and I completely agree.
