Sometimes I Cry
 
I like it when it rains.
The cool, drops of water.
Mixing with my tears as they slide down my cheeks.

Thinking back now,
We used to walk in the rain.
But that is just a memory.

Dark and lonely my nights,
Cold and emotionless my heart.
Just a shell of my former self.

I stood there in front of you,
Telling you I love you,
But it just wasn't enough.

I wonder why you left,
Knowing in my heart,
We both saw this coming.

Now when I'm with him,
It's no different.
Cause I can't help it.
Sometimes I cry.
