The gods divided when the kingdom split, now seven adventureres must reunite them. |
[Introduction]
Thousands of years ago, the world was united as one. There was only one country, one religion, one culture. Everyone was content and the land prospered. But one day, a man stood up to the ruler. Tired of the way things were, he wanted changed and demanded it. The man and the ruler argued and everyone who could listened. Some agreed with the man that only by change can the land grow greater. Some agreed with the leader that they needn't bother with change as everything was perfect already. Finally, some didn't know which side was right and were confused. The man gathered those who believed him and left the land, finding a country of their own. Those who were confused left to figure out who was right and to understand their own thoughts. Those who stayed with the ruler had to then make up for the lost labor of those who had left. In the end, the land began to die. The Gods watched these evenst from their thrones in the sky, and were divided themselves. Finally, the split off to follow each group they agreed with the most. The seven Holy Gods; The Goddess of Life, God of Peace, God of Love, Goddess of Light, Goddess of Healing, Goddess of Motherhood, and the God of Protection, allied with the original countryand presented them with a symbol. A star with seven points, showing that there will always be light even when things were bleak. The seven Nature Gods; The God of Night, The Goddess of Day, The Goddess of Harvest, God of Creatures, The God of Fire, Goddess of Water, and the Goddess of innocence, followed those who were confused and granted them the symbold of a tree with seven branches, each branch baring a fruit. Showing that there are two sides to life. The effort to produce it, and the reult. And last, the seven Dark Gods; The God of Death, God of War, Goddess of Chaos, Goddess of Disease, God of Famine, God of Theft, and God of Despair allied with the man and those who wanted change. Granting them the symbol of a rose with seven thorns. Revealing that there is a second side to everything. Moving forward three thousand years, the three countries no longer exhist and with the birth of new Gods and Goddess, among false prophets, the people have forgotten their past and the planet is almost dead. The only thing that remains of that age is a tablet, telling of seven people who will unite the Gods and bring the land back to life. Okay, I need six people other than myself. You can be either boy or girl and you can pretty much be whatever you want, as long as it fits inside the story. So yeah, other than that, have fun! Oh, I forgot to mention this ealier, but if you don't add in three days I will skip your turn or if you haven't added a bio yet, remove you entirely. So please update or give reasons why you can't. I hate being an ass... |
Name: Viela "Vi" Druslin (Hates her name) Age: Early twenties. She stopped paying attention to it. Looks: Her hair is a short brown mess because she decided caring for it was a waste of time. Her larger than normal eyes have a light green shade to them. Her close are non-revealing and easy to move in, and her sleeve has a snake for no reason other than the fact that she likes snakes. Personality: If she can't kill it, her interest level dies down. She is particularly violent, impatient, and just loves being an ass. Though she does have a soft spot for blood, spiders, snakes, and swords. She is not very bright, nor does she understand much of anything. Other: She doesn't really have a job besides killing whatever needs to be killed in the town she's in for the week. She cares nothing for religion or the past, considering boring drivel used by the weak to waste time. |
Name: Jayla Ford Age: 23 Looks: Stands at around 5'6 with pale blonde hair, framing light blue eyes, paired with lightly tanned skin. Personality: Outgoing and bubbly, Jayla's personality pops. She's always under stress, always frustrated at everything she does. She can be quite sarcastic at times, and always has somthing to say. Other: She has no job. She used to, but she got fired, and is living off her past savings. |
Name: Donny McFadden Age: 25 Looks: Donny is a little over six foot with a muscular build. He has olive green eyes and dark brown hair that sometimes tends to get to long. Likes to be able to relax in his clothes, so more than often he is seen in just jeans and a t-shirt. Personality: He has one bad temper, and can sometimes lose control. Likes to hang out with the guys and have fun...Who doesnt? Donny is very responsible and is a pretty bright crayon. Other: Owning a bar can be tough at times but Donny loves it. He started the business just two years ago and has been doing great, thanks to some friends in advertising. But other than work he is single and lives the life of a bachelor. |
Name: Maddy Krugen Age:18 Looks: Bright red hair always tied up in a pony for easy manipulation. Pale green eyes that are always sparkling. She's short, but don't let that fool you. She usually wears dresses, but don't let that fool you either. Personality: Maddy is annoying. She's only this way because she argues about everything. If she doesn't understands something she'll argue until she falls into a point of view. It's not that she likes making enemies. If she doesn't know a person, she'll lay off with the arguements, but if it's a friend, relative, or aquaintant, she's all over it. She loves to laugh and is good with her hands (As in she fixes everything that's broken.) Oh, and she's fiesty. :P Other:She just left her aunt's house in a small village to find a new life for herself. Currently tavelling down a road that leads to gods know where. |
Name: Dada Bolero Age: 59 Looks: Dada Bolero stands six feet, as tall and stocky as ever, although the fact that he is always seen wearing a heavy suit is no accident; the thick coat obscures his body, which old age has made skinny and infirm. He is also never seen without his fedora and reading glasses, without which he is quite bald and quite blind, respectively. Finally, he travels with a full (and quite bulky) black bag full of books, useful tools and other such things. Personality: Bolero is a former anthropologist and librarian who has long since retired from all manner of work but retains the knowledge and intellectual pursuit that was a prerequisite of that work. He enjoys traveling and frequently is called on to give lectures in other cities. Some of his areas of specialty are in esoteric matters such as philosophy, nature, folklore and mysticism. Other: Dada is the oldest person in his neighborhood, as well as the most knowledgeable. Generally he spends all his time now sharing that vast knowledge with his neighbors and friends in the community, particularly the children of the area, who gave him the name "Dada", a slang term for father. |
Name: Adrian LaCrouix Age: 21 Looks: Adrian stands at about six foot even, with dark brow/black hair that covers his blue-gray eyes. He is of muscular build, but not disgustingly so. He has a small scar on his forehead and another on his right arm. He has a tan complexion. Personality: Normally keeps to himself, but does maintain a close circle of friends. He usually keeps calm in all situations, unless it pertains to those he cares about, then he tends to go berserk. At those times, most choose to stay away, and he also hates himself. Other: He was abandoned as a child, and was moved from home to home until finally staying long enough to get a decent education. Since, he has spent his time traveling. |
Viala "Vi" Druslin flopped down at the bar and took out her dagger. Not even looking up at the bartender she ordered, "Whatever the Hell you want to give me." The bartender obliged and she drained it in one gulp. Focused on her dagger. As much as she hated the idea, she would have to buy a new one. "At least my sword is still good..." She muttered and pulled it out. Or she would have if the hilt hadn't broken of the blade. "What!?! I guess that guys sword was sharper thank I thought..." She got up and tossed some money onto the counter. She had just begun to move when she noticed some bar thugs hassling some blonde girl. Vi paused for a second and walked over and whispered to the girl, "I'll get rid of 'em. For a price." |
Jayla Ford slowly opened the door to the bar, peeking her head in and scanning the room. She pushed her pale blonde hair over her shoulders and stepped into the rather noisy scene. When she was about to head to the bar, a rough hand grabbed her shoulder. It whirled her around to face 3 thick, dirty men. "Hey baby. Wanna have some...funnn?" asked the man with his hand on her shoulder. Jayla pushed the big oaf's hand off of her an stared him straight in the eye. She was about to say somthing very witty, but a girl whispered in her ear, "I'll get rid of 'em. For a price." "No need." Jayla said with a wink as she flipped her long scarf over her shoulders and gripped the blades that it covered. The men, obviously drunk, lunged at the two girls. Both of them dodge it with ease. The burnette stepped back and crossed her arms. Jayla guessed that if she wasn't getting paid, she wasn't gonna help. But, it was hard not to help if a fat drunk is coming towards you with a bottle of beer. The burnette sighed and pulled out a worn dagger. Jayla jumped over the big oaf's head and kicked him in the back. He fell to the floor, unconsious. "Well, that was easy." She said as the burnette finished up the other two. "Unwanted action." |
