Heart Broken

A new break through in my heart
He has no idea what will hit him
Even if he reacts with comfort
He’ll still have lost the passion in my eyes

How can it come to this?
What can go so wrong in love that it gets to this point?
Aren’t we supposed to know before we get into it?
Immaturity in a place that it can’t exist

I say it shows me nothing, and leaves a bad example
When in reality it shows me what not to do
Needing to take the right steps towards my own family
Making sure that love is my direction not a certain mold

Making it last 50 years lying in bed next to a passion that can’t be explained
Is something that you don’t look for
Love is a part of us and will hit us at the right moments
Hopefully we’re smart enough to grab hold
