The Battle

A/N: Representative of the classic struggle between good and evil through the history of time, and how now none is clear.

Darkness rise
And darkness falls
Forming under forgotten walls
Following the words the cowardly do hear
But passed by neither hand
Nor ear

In the darkness hands they shook
And the words that formed the darkness took
Will darkness rise or darkness fall?
It tries to rise and conquer all

Whispered pacts made in the light
Courageous battles fought with night
And still the battle wages on
But now the darkness starts to fall

The darkness mingled witht the light
Confusing all, for none was bright
And all the world was riddled with strife
But still the darkness fights to grow

The mixing of the dark and light
Halted but did not end the fight
Because in the grey it struggled still
To balance equal the dark and light

But will the struggle end this night?
Where none is dark and none is light?
The battle surges on and on
Defying still the throes of time

As of now the battle rages on
And mayhap forever 'till the end
So we still live with this fight
As told by voiceless whispers in the night
