The Burn

I consistently burn in the flames of your poetic ambiance
Drawing me closer to the hook that always brings me back
Pulling me from the edge and freeing me of my imminent decadence
I sometimes lose my way but you always place me back on track

I bask in the euphoria which you have so consistently placed upon me
I wonder of your uplifting presence with ever coincide with my contradictions
Yet something unpredictable constantly causes me to resurrect my intellectual key
I spontaneously inspire myself to come closer to your affections

I detach myself from creating a cumbersome existence
I search for all in you that may be probabilistic
Everything that I find makes perfect sense
I try my very best to keep this all realistic

You construct emotions in me that couldn’t possibly be real
My arms are outstretched readily to your needs
You have freed me of my numbness and taught me to feel
We will go on without any doubts planting our relational seeds

I won’t surrender
You won’t be defeated
So much to consider
Yet no thoughts are needed
