My Letter Of Gratitude

I feel the warmth in your arms
I feel you here
I'm not scared but secure
and it's indescribable.
There's a love, no words can speak
I fail to put into detail
The world small in comparison, it's nothing
To this feeling when you walked into my world.

No one understands me better then you do
and you don't even have to try
You know me both in and out
and I can't hide a thing, no matter what I do.

I don't have to worry about being misjudged
or made fun of, or this friendship dying off

My imperfections are small in your eyes
Forget what this world might perceive
You’re here and that's all that matters.

Through you I see what a good friend is
You show me what it is to be unconditional
To always remain true, Through you..
I've repaired myself, I cried and cried
and you were here to take my tears away

You helped me through my confusion
and I hate not having a way to repay you
In the dark places you stayed with me
To lead me out

And gave me the best sister in the world
All these things you gave from your heart

Through you I see what it means to love..
