a curse by choice

My people have been cursed
And not for the darkness of their skin
But for the disobedience to god
And no true repentance for their sin

Anyone can say to the lord
I'm sorry and i'm gonna change
See if the heart isn't willing
Then the rest will continue on the same

If your tired of the failure
Our young men dying in pain
The conflict in our familys
All the hard work with no gain

If your tired of being a dependent to society
The laughing stock once u fail
Just another black statistic
Looking for exceptance in the world

Remember what God gives u
Not no man on this earth
Can ever take it away

Unless u turn your heart
From God
And choose to disobey
