Set Him Free

A poem about my son suffering with Bipolar disorder

He gets so angry so often,
with nothing to be angry for.
Fighting rules thought made to be broken,
devoting himself to his own little world.

He finds younger children annoying,
and anyone else not as smart as he.
To him, attacking just comes natural,
can't stand anyone holding authority.

Most people say there's no hope for him,
but I refuse to believe.
I pray to God in Heaven each night,
please give me the strength to set him free.
