A poem about my cat
Child Hood Memories: Persey

This animal originated from the stalagmite drippings of Hell

A coat of shaded charcoal and a metallic white was given to the beast of demise

Until he was to fall

My brothers and parents accepted his fur and his frigid cobalt eyes

He claimed the house and all who dwelled within

Forced his servants to find him the finest feline cuisine

His servants, my parents, never saw his sin

“Me-the brothers did it-ow” He would say, even though the burned and mangled curtain smelled of cat urine

He had a clean slate, until of course one of his servants gave birth

Instantly he was filled with spite; he’d climb into my crib and mark what he thought he could own

His dander was in my eyes, his pee was on my sheets, and his shit smelled of musty earth

I lied in the residue of his bowels crying; he’d thought I succumbed to his throne

I declared: “One day I’ll throw you in a garbage bag and spin you around and then bury you in sand”

Nonchalantly he licked his rose colored crayon penis and said “Sure little girl catch me if you can”
