A kind of homage to a Kalahari queen who passed away and has been mourned by many.
Queen of Flowers

You ruled in the Kalahari ...
Many lives were in your hands.
And every time you were pregnant,
a long dynasty inside.

Strong and sweet little flower,
when someone like you must die
a world can be filled with seeds,
and a place with memories.

Your golden reign may have ended,
your scepter and crown may fall,
but in the heart of the newborns
your memory will bring strength.

Why, Lady, you had to try
to grow fast in other branch ?
The one, but big bad mistake
that your wild girl's heart would make.

And then there wasn't your brave Knight
who could rescue you that day.
But remember, Queen of Flowers ...
It is you who won indeed.
