War...death, guns, bloody soldiers. Who wouldve known the biggest war of all is going on inside a beautiful teenage girl?
Going through life struggling with the stereotypical teenage problems with a darker tint to it all. No one knows because she covers it up with a pearly white smile and a laugh that puts a smile on the poorest man. The battle raging underneath frail ribs could easily destroy anything in its path if released. A heart with scars and bandaids from past experienced is being torn in two.
One side:
Trust, truth, honesty, faith. This alliance between God and the part of this girl who desperately wants to love herself for who and what she is.
Other side:
Uncertainty, self-conciousness, pesamism, and Sunday School's teachings of the serpent. The section of the mind that sees an image in the mirror that she hopes with all her might is a cereal box's version of actual size.
Who will carry the victory in this battle? well...thats up to the beautiful teenage girls who sees what the world doesn't when she looks in the mirror.
