The Isude
The Isude was a tablet created by the ruler of each country 10,000 years ago. On this tablet, they wrote an agreement to keep the Old Magic within the world. But, when they were fighting on who should keep it, it broke into 12 pieces all over the countries. The only way to get to use the power was to put it back together again. Some of the rulers wanted peace, others wanted to rule all, and some found the peaces and are defending them for what want them used for. Three were found by the Elves, and they have hidden them within their Temples. But the remaining nine are missing, and when the tablet is not together as one, the Old Magic is out of order, and changes the person who attempts to use it. The tablet contains riddles of the Old Magic.
These are clues to the superior magic. The following is a riddle deciphered from one of the found pieces:

“Found in the forest, this mysterious object.
But to use it wrong, it would be a wreck.”

This Riddle is believed to be a clue to the Faeries superior magic. This gives the ones who seek the Isude an understanding on what written on the tablet. A riddle to finding the superior magic of each race.

Superior Magic
Each race has a superior magic, even Humans. There is a superior power for each race, though no one knows except the Elves since the solving of the superior magic is believed to be written on the Isude. But if one solves the superior magic of all races, and uses it for the wrong reasons, the Earth is doomed to chaos.

Quest of the Isude

Lesia stared out of her dust filled window in her room. It was rather a nice day and she whished she could go out and splash out in the puddles of the morning rain, but, as her mother always reminded her, “No good young lady from Pserta goes around and gets her attire all muddy!” Lesia continued to watch as a little boy, burned from the sun, splashed around in a puddle, then slip and fall. He started wailing for his mother and she came and picked him up and brought him back into their house. Lesia continued to watch the puddle when a harsh voice woke her out of her reverie.
“Lesia, get down here and start your chores!” Her mother called from down stairs. Lesia stepped off of her hammock bed onto the wooden floors. She walked to her closet and picked out a mud stained woolen dress. She grabbed a blue apron off of the coat rack. She stole a quick glance in the mirror, and found that her hair would probably be of disapproval of her mother, so she brushed out the knits and tied it up in a knot, covered in a leather bandana. She walked down the stairs and saw her mother baking breads for her booth in the market.
“Morning, mother.” Lesia said cheerfully, picking up a stack of clothes for drying. Her mother smiled and nodded at her, the continued with her pastries. Lesia stepped outside and welcomed the smell of recently received. She slipped on her boots and walked to the back yard, stringing up the clothes on the line.
It was early in the morning, so there weren’t a lot of people out. Lesia felt kind of lonely, since whenever she strung up the clothes in the line, there was always entertainment. The old lady next door would always scold the children who would steal the meats she kept, and of course, there was the boy who fell in the puddle. One time, he was practicing jumping rope and he decided to do tricks. First, he would do one foot, then he would criss-cross, and his most extreme was touching the ground. Lesia smiled at the thought. He was quite good, considering he was only five.
Once Lesia had finished with the clothes, she walked back inside the house. Her mother was by the fire, watching the breads rise.
“What would you like from the market, mother.” Lesia asked. Her mother thought about this for a moment, before replying, “I need some of Josiah’s eggs, and Num’s goat milk.” She handed the Lesia the amount of money needed for these things. “Her is some extra. Get what you’d like.” She dropped a few extra coins.
“Mother! Thank you so much!” Lesia threw her arms around her mother.
“Go along, ducky.” Lesia grabbed her cloak to hide her stained outfit, and put the money inside the pocket. She grabbed the shopping bucket and went out the door.
Lesia walked down the road, following the smell of strong oils and meats of the Market. She was greeted by the sound of laughter and the sight of rich colors. She smiled at everyone, and they smiled back. She walked to farmer Josiah’s booth and was first in line.
“Good Morning, Lesia! It is always good to see your smiling face. She smiled as he came around back and gave her a hug. She couldn’t fit her arms all the way around him because of his large belly.
“What would you like today?” He asked.
“I need ten eggs.” She replied, reaching in her pocket for her money.
“15 Psreses.” Lesia handed him the coins.
“Thank you Josiah.”
“No, thank you, Lesia.” He handed her the eggs in a carton. She stuck them inside her basket and continued on her way to Num’s booth when something caught her eye. It was perhaps the most beautiful dress she had ever seen. It was a deep azure, wit h sleeves starting at just below the shoulders. The sleeves were tight silk, and there was a small hole to hook on your middle fingers. The bottom was embellished with intricate weavings in silver. The dress was of a fine satin. She looked at the neckline. It was a deep V, and weather or not she bought it, she knew her mother would disapprove of it not having modesty.
Lesia looked at it sadly, knowing it was too much. The owner stared at her, then the dress, then back at her. She sighed and walked up to Lesia.
“Would you like to try it on?” Lesia stared at her, dumbfound.
“Uh, yeah.” She mentally kicked herself for stuttering.
She followed the old woman into back of the caravan. She hung up rugs and sheets around it.
“Stay here. I will grab the dress.” Lesia did as she was told. She touched the sheets, and felt envy when she discovered they were silk. The woman was back wit h the dress.
“Take off your clothes.” Lesia took off her cloak, feeling kind of embarrassed for her dirty clothes. The woman seemed not to mind. She continued until she was bare.
“What is your name?” Lesia asked the woman as she helped her into the dress. It feels so soft, thought Lesia.
“Kesa. Yours?” Kesa tied the knot at the neck.
“Lesia.” Once Kesa was done, she spun Lesia around and led her into the booth. Inside the caraan werethe finest of materials. There were foreign fabrics, some looked itchy, others, soft as silk. There was also lots of dolls, with cracked faces, and lots of broken child toys.
“You made the dress?” Asked Lesia as Kesa looked for her full length mirror.
“Yes. My mother taught me when I was very little. I have worked on that dress for five years.” She found the mirror, blew of the dust, and stood it in front of Lesia.
Lesia was shocked. Her blue eyes matched this dress, and it made them stand out against her sandy skin. She took off the bandana and the knot so the hair fell to her shoulders. She could imagine her at the Ball of the King, dancing around with her hair braided up, dancing with the king himself. She mentally shook her head and stared back at her reflection.
“It is beautiful. You did a wonderful job,” said Lesia. She continued, “how much is it.”
Kesa looked at her with an unreadable expression, then pursed her lips, and it seemed she was smiling too.
“250 Pseres. But, since you look beautiful, I will lower it to 100 Pseres.” Lesia was stunned as the Kesa lowered the remarkable dress, but was still sad. Her mother had given her only 30 Pseres.
“Thank you for doing that, but I don’t have enough. Thank you for letting me try it on.” The old woman nodded and led her back out to the changing area. She untied the dress, and Lesia stepped back into her normal clothes. Kesa smoothed it out and led Lesia out to the front. She put it back up again.
“Thank you again.” Lesia said. Kesa nodded. Making sure all her eggs were still in her basket, Lesia continued her way to Num’s. She got in line and waited till it was her turn.
“’Ello, m’dear, how may I be of service?” Num was an old man, a very old man. He never recognized his customers, and he always forgot to add up the tax.
“Hello Num. How has your day been?”
“Ex-hausting.” He replied with a big sigh. Lesia smiled.
“I would like a gallon of goats milk.” She had her money ready, knowing he would forget to count up tax.
“That is uh… that will be…”
“30 Pseres.” Finished Lesia. Num smiled.
“Tha’s right. 30 Pseres.” Lesia handed him the money in turn for the goats milk. She set it inside of her basket.
“Have a g’day, miss.” She smiled and nodded in reply.
She decided to go down to the Oil stand, since her supply was gone. She walked down, passing the little boy who fell in the puddle earlier that day. He was eating a bar of chocolate, which was dripping from his face onto his fingers. She smiled at him, and he did the same. He handed her a piece.
“Choc-lat?” He asked. She bent down and took the piece from him.
“Thank you very much.” He smiled and ran to his mother who was calling him.
Lesia put the piece of chocolate in her mouth, relishing its rich flavor. She let her tongue melt it so it was a thick liquid. It was gone once she reached the Oils.
“What would you like today?” The clerk was a young woman, few years older than Lesia.
“I would like a bottle of Jasmine, Rosemary, and Lavender.” The clerk handed her the oils in a small draw string pouch. “25 Pseres.” Lesia dropped the coins into her hand and took her oils and place them into her basket. She decided to save the five Pseres for something big she might want. Perhaps that dress, though Lesia. But her hopes were soon gone when she saw that the dress was gone.
She walked up to her home, welcomed by the smells of fresh bread. Opening the door, she saw her mother at the table, weaving another apron.
“Here you go mother.” Said Lesia, handing her mother the eggs and goat milk. She took them and sat them in the ice bucket. “Did you see anything you liked? I made you a scone.” She said ,sitting back down. Lesia took off her cloak and sat down next to her. Picking up the scone, she said, “there was this beautiful dress, but it was too expensive.” She buttered her scone, and after taking a bite, she said, “so I got some oils.”
“It is always nice to get oils.” Her mother said. Nodding, Lesia finished her meal. She washed her dish and sat back down with her mother. She and her mother have gotten used to eating one or two at most meals a day. Even though her mothers booth was very successful, they got little income. And nowadays, food was very expensive. Most days, her mother eats nothing. Lesia was very concerned for her mothers health, and often helped out so her mother wouldn’t exhaust herself.
“What other chores would you like me to do, mother?”
