No dig at America, just a general crit of the world really ^_^
By the dawns early light.

Oh, say can you see,
On the busy New York streets,
The homeless, unsheltered, lying.

Oh, say can you see,
The woman in her little home,
And her fatherless daughter crying.

Oh, say can you see,
The hurriedness of life,
And all the people trying.

Oh, say can you see,
The old woman on her porch,
Just sitting there and sighing.

Oh, say can you see,
The couple at the station,
Mourning their goodbye-ing.

Oh, say can you see,
The bravery of soldiers,
As they face an enemy, dying.

Oh, say can you see,
By the dawn’s early light,
The devastation of Man’s forging.
