This is a poem about the struggles of love, and finding what it really is in the end. |
"Oh it starts with the eyes, with every surprise leaning in closer, just to catch another glimpse Its a nervous twitch, with a shaking within hands touch, lips lock hes lost til the end Everyday its another hello, looking at her you can just see the glow the light in her eyes, made his spirits rise a shine of her smile makes him walk for miles on end just to see her, just to talk with her, its not just a trend Because nice guys dont win, they're always just friends Because nice guys are there, but never act on it Because nice guys will sit there, and listen to her cry Because nice guys never win, no they never win at all oh right from the start he knew she was right the right girl for him, they would talk every night the fear of the change, the transitions not there he fell for her, and she dyed her hair He cared for her, she loved his friend when he talked to her, shed talk of him he asked her out, she asked for him a cold heartless bitch, but he loved that twitch the twitch in his neck, that told him its right to bad he was him, just another nice guy Because nice guys dont win, they're always just friends Because nice guys are there, but never act on it Because nice guys will sit there, and listen to her cry Because nice guys never win, no they never win at all He lost his patience, she started to see the love in his eyes that he had for she she felt the twitch, the creek in her head when she found him, she thought she was dead For nice guys can only last so long the fear of losing her made him see past the fog he found him a girl, that made up his life when she saw him, happy with her she knew the feeling of a crushing world Because nice guys can wait, but waitings not nice she can be close, but friendships for life Because nice guys will watch, just watch from afar As their world crashes down, and there feelings are scarred " |
