Lament from within

As i fall from grace memories
of time long gone stir inside me.
The pain so agonizing;tormented
by the demons you left for all to see.

Never did i want to let you go
yet still you walked away
emotion no longer resides within
what is left of a heart
do you wish to know

remembering of times long gone
lament deep down in your soul
as darkness rises from within
never again will i walk this
road again.
