From Where I Am

From where I am standing..
Up here on this mountain..
The green land looks as beautiful as the blue sky
And the rivers look as calm as the white clouds

From where I am standing..
Up here on this mountain..
The forests look as peaceful as the shining stars
And the sea looks as endless as the atmosphere

Cannot tell the difference..
Whether trees are falling for replantation or exploitation
Whether animals are dying because of the process of food-chain or extinction
Whether human beings’arms are reaching out in shaking hands or hurting each other

It looks all the same..
When aircrafts are flying, whether dropping assistance or bombs
When animals are screaming, whether sending alert of disaster or crying for help
When human beings are speaking, whether holding together or blaming each other

Down there..
Nothing is really the same.. Noone is really the same..
Every situation and destiny are tangled together
But every life feels like they are unconnected to each other..

From where I am standing..
Up here on this mountain..
Everything looks the same..
Everything looks peaceful, calm and endless..

From where I am standing..
Up here on this mountain..
I am wishing that one day, someday..
Everything will be as peaceful as it is seen from up here where I am standing..
