every spelling error is indeed correct, stay opened minded
I heard a loud noyse tonight on my window in my woom
I was so scared that I ran to mommys and daddys woom
My daddy sed, You are always safe in my arms, I promise you this
So I went back to my woom and tried to sweep again
But I new that there was a monster waiting to eat me
So I hid under my covers with my fwashwight on
I new this monster cant get me

A few years later I woke up again
Only this time it wasn’t the wind
I crawled out of my bed and to the door
I opened it up and couldn’t look any more
I thought I saw a monster in the back of my closet
I hid again under my blankets once more

A few more years have passed and my life is beginning to grow
I’m a few inches taller now and officially in Jr. High
One night I heard a creepy howling softly outside my window
I told myself it was nothing more then the wind
I conjured up enough courage to open my window
I looked outside and heard it louder and went under my covers again

High school is a new experience, very emotional and rather irrational
I have begun to find my niche and search the horizon
I am dating a very pretty girl, she is a year younger
I have begun to mature at a respectable rate
One night I was preparing for bed when a noise silenced my toothbrush
I tip toed to my window to investigate the cause of the delay
I began to get nervous and lay until the next day

I was promoted to vice president of the company
I was so exuberant that I took the family to a nice restaurant
My wife asked me why I had such a magnanimous smile
I told it’s because I’m a true supplier
That night after my wife and I lay in bed
I hear a bitter groan from outside my window ledge
Truly prepared to scare away my fears I reach for the handle
I cautiously lift the window open, even though it was very creaky
I search the yard and even the horizon
Nothing in site not even a smidgen

My wife has passed and my kids are now married with kids of their own
I look back in my years and ponder certain questions
Why was I so scared and so very pathetic
No sooner then that memory escaped my mind
My grandchild came into my room crying due to the same problem
I took him in my arms and promised him this
You are always safe in my arms, I promise you this
