Are you Missing the Point?

Listen to these words taken from a song called Mind’s Eye:

But, it’s hard to believe
In what you cannot see
His presence is revealed by
The leaves on a tree
An image of my faith in the unseen

Belief in Jesus Christ:
1. Those without belief, are they missing the point?
2. How about those unsure, are they missing the point?

From the Book of John(my favorite), We can read many of Jesus’ words.  His words are our leaves on a tree.  Can you catch the wind/see a breeze?

The Jewish people, the Pharisees…Just didn’t get it.  Jesus did miracles for them, He taught them and He explained if you will raise up the Son of Man, then you will know quote “Who I Am” end quote.  This was what I was missing and when I finally raised him up, I finally found out Who he was.  He reminded them that he was fulfilling the Scriptures.  Most still didn’t get it, some did.

To give belief, faith and trust in something means you have to give whole heartedly until proven wrong.  (you won’t be proven wrong, that’s what so great)  If you have this faith then give testimony for it to others.  If you lack or have none of this faith, then step out, allow yourself to become part of God’s light, you will not be disappointed.  Understand that you cannot be passive, shy or on the fence about it.  Jesus wants all to walk through his gate with our head up, chest out, smile from ear to ear and a confidence in our belief, faith and trust that he will lead us to the Father, God’s light is shinning ever so brightly for us all.

SO, can we catch the wind?  See a breeze?  We don’t need to!  We feel the effects of a strong wind and the gentleness of a breeze.

What’s the point of doubting Jesus?  If you have yet to lift him up or if you have yet to combine true belief, faith and trust in His Holy Word then you will never know the Love and Grace that He offers to each and every one of us.  Let go, let go of the mundane and let go of the world.  Jesus is the POINT!  Can you give a confident YES to getting the point?  Well then make sure you didn’t miss his request to follow his teachings, follow his lead and do as He did.
