Watching You Breathe

Waking up next to you
Looking at your face,
So relaxed and sweet
Watching you breathe
Everything seems so calm and quiet
I put my head on your shoulder
And listen to your heartbeat
I didn't know you open your eyes
Until I hear you say,
"It beats for you"
Tears well up in my eyes
I look up and look into your dark brown eyes
It seems as if I'm looking into my future
And all I can see is you
You take my hand
And before I can kiss you
You say, "Will you marry me."
Those tears stream down my face
"Yes I will." I say so happily
I kiss you so passionately
I open my eyes and see you laying next to me
I watch you breathe
And hear you whisper, "I love you"
