A cute and romanic poem of love and forgiveness. |
There you are standing in the doorway. Of that old house by the beach where we stay. You don’t speak a word but still I know. By the look in your eyes were we need to go. Gently I rap my arms around you tight. Kissing you softy I apologize for our fight. You smile as I kiss you softy on your cheek. As our love begins to turn us weak. Down the sidewalk and across the road we travel. In my arms I carry you over the gravel. When we finally reach the beach hand in hand. I see the “I love you” you wrote in sand. Together we reach the edge of the glistening sea. The sound of its peaceful wake sets us free. Standing in the tide I whisper and let you know. How much I love you as we stand in the ocean’s flow. The sun’s last rays burn with a passionate heat. As the gentle current of the tide tickles our feet. You giggle and wrap your arms around me tight. Softy we kiss each other forgetting our fight. Together we lay on the beach watching the sunset. Holding each other we remember the day we first met. I kiss you deeply as the summer sky grows black. Wrapping my arms around you I lay you on your back. Slowly you run your fingers through my hair. You look so beautiful lying there I try not to stare. Slowly I move my hands up and down your side. As together we make love in the ocean’s tide. |
