Love comes with a sacrifice
Love comes with a cost
Sometimes it will bring heartache
Enough to get you lost

So why even bother
With that which will cause pain?

If it drives you so insane?

If it isn't worth your time
After all, isn't love
What cost that man his life?

Isn't pain, isn't sorrow
The picture he portrayed?
Didn't he demonstrate love
Through a cross and through a grave?

I pray that you look father
And see it through his eyes
Love does have its rewards
Though it also has a price
