When darkness comes the raindrops fall.
Awaking thoughts of mindless drawl.
To shout away those feelings of mirth,
I crawl beneath the puddles and dirt.
To await for the sunbeams of yellow and red,
So they may dance once more upon my head.
The green forest sings a tune under the purple-blue sky.
Birthing giggles of a flock passing by.
The dark clouds pass for a moment then…
Returning my fiery hot-blooded friend.
Rejoice I may for a short heat spell,
For those darkened moments the sunnier days quell.
