A letter to kind hearts

          Sometimes it takes courage to be kind; to give without expecting anything in return. Kindness comes from the heart, and it does not always manifest itself in materialistic things.
          You can see kindness between family members, lovers, close friends, and even with pets. This letter is dedicated to the anonymous person who gave me a gift of an Upgraded Membership with this site and the people like them. That's the kind of courage I'm writing about. You don't know me at all, or even who I am but you were kind. Not because you had to...but because you wanted to.
          It is because of people with this type of kindness, that everyones family, town or city, and world is a better place to live in.
          I wish that all kindness was from the heart, but unfortunately, it's not. Some kindness is forced and some people forgot HOW to be kind. Various things though, like selfless acts of giving gifts to people you don't know, can show other human beings what kindness is all about.
          So to all of Writing.com, authors, readers, and reviewers alike. I thank you for showing me kindness that is directly from your heart.
