based on my passed relationship.
The accident happened an hour ago,
The argument, for weeks.
She wanted this,
He didn't know what he wanted.
She took advantage of that,
He let her.

He was driving,
She was screaming.
He was always out,
She wanted him too much.
Friends kept coming by,
Jealousy enflamed.
The car screeched,
the warning too late.

He loved her,
She couldn't be without him.
He cried with her,
She laughed with him.

She couldn't laugh this one off.
He was in surgery,
She had a few bumps and bruises.
He was dying,
She was crying.

In his jacket pocket, the ring lay undamaged,
The cold diamond shimmering, glittering
Unaware of the unhappiness surrounding it.
The nurse picked up his things, the ring fell to the floor.
The nurse picked it up, looked it over.
Her name was inscribed in his script.

Sympathetic, nurse handed it over to Her.
The sobs were heavy and ran through her body.
She pressed her face against the glass of the surgery room.
Her heart was racing, his was slowing.

He felt the knife, felt the pain.
Felt the blood, still warm.
He could see her looking in,
yet his eyes were closed.
He felt her pain, his physical pain.
A sigh and it escaped.
Her name on his lips.

The doctors rushed,
her hand flew to her mouth.
He was dying,
She was crying
