Basically about the rollercoaster that is trust and friendship... |
A soul mate found, Is the best sort of gain, One who will hear your troubles, And feel and share your pain, A secure and selfless person, Who'll shield you from the rain, Someone who will sit with you, And can easily entertain. A soul mate betrayed, Is the worst scenario, They could forgive and forget, Or be too let down and go, Guilt is the devil's humour, Or God's penance on show, Just don't decieve and dig a hole, It hurts quite badly, I know. A soul mate lost, Is the hardest blow of all, Who will think of you, Or feel the urge to call? Will you manage to sit in silence now, Or will you pace the hall? Can you pick yourself up in time, Or will you duly fall? A soul mate's con, Is a difficult idea, The one you trusted most, The one you held most dear, Flatters to decieve, And leaves your mind unclear, How do you then rely on someone, Without a nagging fear? A soul mate is needed, Don't get yourself in a state, Just go about your business, And trust yourself to fate, They may be around the corner, Just running a liitle late, Everybody has one, So don't change just for bait! |
