Some things I can change, some I can't..

If you don't like me
the way that I am,
I would be willing
to change what I can.

If I'm too big
I can drop some pounds.
If you don't like my night shirts
I can switch to gowns.

If you don't like my hair
I can go blond or red.
If you don't like the couch
Please take the bed.

If you don't like me quiet
I can talk some more.
I can get an opperation
So that I don't snore.

I want to make you happy.
Do I have what it takes?
Please talk to me,
For goodness sakes.

If you don't like the way I cook
Or even the way I clean,
I'm willing to change it all,
If you know what I mean.

But the one thing I can't change
Is how I feel about you.
I'm not sure you feel the same,
And I don't know what to do.

If only a little bit,
To me, it's a big deal.
Just a tiny gesture
To show how you feel.

A small kiss
A hug here and there.
Run your fingers
Through my hair.

Snuggle with me,
Hold me tight.
Pop into bed with me sometimes,
In the middle of the night.

Passion can't be one sided,
It creates heart-ache.
Those feelings I can't change,
Those feelings you can't fake.

The decision's all yours
On what we should do.
If it was up to me,
I would stay with you.

I would give you my heart
And my soul and my love.
I would stay with you forever,
Below and above.

I care for you deaply
You are such a great guy.
As I write you this poem
I have a tear in my eye.

If you don't feel the same
Don't be afraid to break my heart.
Just say the word,
And I will quietly part.

I'l understand
It wasnt meant to be,
If your not attracted
To country-girl me.

But if there's a small chance
That you feel the same way,
Please give me a big hug,
And you'd make my day!!
