This is a poem I wrote quite awhile ago.
In a dream full of night
In a moon full of loneliness
And despair
I awoke
And thought of how easily people
Bruise or say they do
But how
In the dead of night they
Will lose their inhibitions.
( I think you are made out of air.)

The dreams of a century are there
The thoughts of a nation
The story of a generation
But they don’t know where
Dreams they can't catch don't exist
You don’t really exist.
(I think you are made out of air.)

I loved once (yes, you were there)
I cured your cancer once (and it bit me)
I took your pain once ( but you hit me)
I saved your country once (you just laughed.)
(I think you are made out of air.)

I killed you once ( you thanked me)
I killed myself once ( cyanide flow free)
I died happy (knowing what I’d done)
(I think you are made out of air.)
