Heartbreak and Poetry

True love comes once in a lifetime,
so why does it need to be taken from me so soon.

i seen something in us which could last forever,
yet its gone , taken , leaving nothing but emptiness and doom.

I will always hold the locket you gave, close to my heart,
hold it in place of the space where my heart used to be,
its not there anymore...you still have it , i gave you it forever,
and that was my word.

Wishes and promises , dreams and hopes,
heartbreak and poetry,
the thoughts of a lost and lonely girl.

From a life which had so much hope , so much potential,
to one which is confused , with a map leading to the unknown,
A question mark stamped into my soul with a tear.

The dreams i held so strong so true ,
have changed.. but they still contain you.

The life we had still lives on, but only in my subconcious soul while i sleep,
when i awake its gone , leaving nothing but to weep.

Soul mates we were , connected at a level i can't explain or understand,

An outlet of poetry, music and tears are what i have.
