The Light In Your Eyes

          Life passes by ever so slowly, without those I need by my side.
The hours I count waste away in memory, but there are things I coulnt tell you even if I tried.
So I’ll walk through my nightmares aimlessly, as I struggle to stay awake.
And I cant shake these things I think of you, its becoming  far to much to take.
                    I’ll just play through the days we spent together like a movie in my mind,
hoping that one day I’ll see again, the light I miss in your eyes. 
And I’ll go on waiting for times to change and for your life to move on,
But I’ll never regret our laughter  we shared, or the way you said you’d never lie.
                    I’ll give you each moment as it comes to me, as I sit here writing this song.
I cant believe you don’t see what she does to you, wrapped around her finger she pulls you along.
Now I hope one day you’ll listen, you’ll hear the heart in my voice. 
But untill then it hurts to watch you rejected, but willingly follow her by choice.
