A spontaneous poem of the End connected with Tolkien's world, through my mind. |
O! the end is nigh and from mountains high to canyons low and all the flowers that grow know that Eru aloft in His Halls soft will break Earth soon asunder so that even Melkor will shudder. Oh how the world cries in pain and how Man is put to shame, be he learns not his lesson. He has sent upon Nature oppression, now Mother Nature causes paranoia; and in the air is the smell of nostalgia. Now here Man stands all alone without a home. He wishes Mother will condone. Nay! she doesn't, she mustn't. Alas! Man is angry, so he burns forests needlessly and kills the fauna mercilessly. In rage the flora took over the dams and thus Man had the flora damned. O! the end is nigh! How it is so similar to Saruman the White who in ages past in his black fortress strong cut down the Forest through the night to make his army last enough to do wrong. But the Ents he angered and they broke down the dam; they lingered around the man. And thus, the Ents had their revenge, though Saruman cringed. O! how it is on this beautiful tapestry that we destroy so freely and tirelessly. How Saruman hacked the trees down and left no seeds for new to grow. Why did he do so? Because technology tempted him so. Alas! the Elves of Lothlórien just like the Vala Lórien, loved the trees, loved the leaves, and he and they built round the trees as to not disturb the leaves. And so Eru and Mother loved he and they, who were coveted by nature lovers and adventurers. Now Man looks up to the Elves and down upon the Dwarves. And though, Man wants to be more Elven he becomes more ad more Dwarven; but instead of cutting stones, he cuts trees and bone. O! how the end is nigh! Man is greedy and wants all. An invasion he plans in the Fall. To invade Valinor and the Timeless Halls. With an army three billion strong he takes the Straight Path long. They come within sight of Valinórë and it reminded the men of Númenórë which in ages past was a gift of the Gods; who in wrath, the All-Father, God waited 'till the army set foot upon the land of the Valar, Valinor. Like He did to Númenor, he sank the World of Arda into the Great Sea, Belegaer. And put into one the Ekkaia with the Sundering Seas. O! how the end has passed! Namárië! |
