There were no trees, no plants, no creatures, no life.
It was barren and desolate, a land of strife.
This wasn’t how I pictured Hell….
It was cold and starved and deathly as well.
I almost fainted with the impending chill,
As death closed in around me, strangling my freewill.
I tried to fight back, but it was simply hopeless,
The shadows drained both my life and wellness.
All light, all warmth, all hope disappeared,
And there I lay soulsapped, full of anguish and fear.
I understood now that my life was pointless,
For we all are to die, to be choked by unrest.
