A look at the story of the Donner Party written in letters from a person who was not actually in the Donner family, but a member of the group nonetheless. It is a sad story with graphic elements that I do not enjoy reading about, but if it is told honestly for the reason of displaying humanity and our choices, then I think it is a venture worth taking.

What I have now is no where near a finished product. I need to add characters, events, and I still have yet to make ANY of my characters complete.
This is just a VERY beginning of a VERY rough extended and unorganized outline.
My chapters aren't really split into chapters either. I just fit the story into 5 letters so far to build up off of.

I wrote this a few years ago as well. So frankly, it's beyond work in progress. It's not all that great. But it won a contest a long time ago so I'm attatched to it I guess.
