One Nation

Red White and Blue
to our flag be true

Men and women fighting to survive
when returning we barely notice the ones alive

What has become of our nation
so much fear with the inflation

While the battles rage on in Iraq
it seems our schools, malls, and church's are under attack

Will the hatred of people ever end
where we may find solace and put our hearts and minds on the mend

Let us pray for peace for all the lands
that one day we may be able to lend our helping hands

Thirteen stripes and fifty stars
this is a flag of freedom not for wars
