Love, romance, starting over, finding true love after loss of a spouse.
Once Upon A Wishing Stone

Once upon a wishing stone a beautiful white Swan, all alone
Searched for a very long time to find her place
In a cruel world of stagnant ponds, after losing her mate
Her dreams dashed, sent her looking for lily pads, lotus in bloom
Her head tucked down in sadness and gloom

Then one day she came upon a clear blue pond
Where rainbows danced and moonbeams shone
Adrift in peaceful harmony, she found herself
gliding under clouds of distant memories

On one brightly shining morn she saw a reflection
on the pond, at first she thought it was her own
Startled she swam away to watch from afar
Then anticipation rose in her chest, she could barely
catch her breath

Could this be the Swan she had waited for all her life...
Suddenly without warning the handsome white Swan
Lifted his wings in a gesture of love
She was shy at first, and doubted his words
A Swan who's charm lured her, right into his arms

He promised her undying love, to cherish her with all his heart
Together they'd live on this beautiful pond
With lily pads floating softly by, lotus in bloom and a summer sky
The ceremony began......

And there behind a wishing stone they vowed their love forevermore
This treasure she locked within her heart, at last she'd found
her ONE true love
Through thunder and lightening and through the storm
He never lets go of her hand....
