a sad poem about missing a deceased father.
And so i dream,
And miss you so.
I'll dance next week,
With one you don't know.

I wish you could come,
I wish you were near.
I wish i could forgive you,
For all my fallen tears.

I'll be sixteen dad,
No longer can i wait.
My body isn't immortal,
Your absence in my life i hate.

And so will dance,
But he will never take your place.
Maybe you'll be there in spirit,
Yet that i can't embrace.

You'll never say,
Sweet sixteen Cass.
Really that's so nice,
But remember your casket cold as ice.

You'll never hug me again dad,
I'll never get your advice.
You've caused me to become so sad,
I've forgotten how life was once nice.

So i'll be sixteen dad,
Your candle you wont light.
Lighting it in your place will be so sad,
But i'll remember you with all my might.
