Midlife

Life goes by like a flash
Before you know it, you'll be old
No one tells you, you must dash
Dreams should not be put on hold

Now I'm forty three years old
And, my dreams did not come true
You think I should be feeling sad
But, that’s not what I plan to do

I feel so happy, I am glad
My body is healthy; my mind is too
My life is really not that bad
It's just a phase I'm going through
